Scheduling Tips:
- Have the record ready: Having the file before you call to schedule eliminates costly delays. Once the appointment(s) have been scheduled, please arrange for the immediate mailing of the record to our office.
- Because our physicians personally review the record, we must have it in our office at least ten working days prior to the examination date for processing.
- Know how to contact the examinee: Because we call every examinee to confirm their appointment and to mail an informational brochure, please let us know the examinee's current home and work telephone numbers and mailing address.
- Know your deadline: Let us know if you have a priority deadline for the report or need an appointment as soon as possible. Frequently, we can move an appointment to an earlier date if your deadline changes.
- Know the specialists you need/want: If you are not sure what specialists are necessary, we will be happy to have our medical director assist you in making that determination. Just let us know the details of the examinee's injury or condition and current complaints.
- Reduce No-Shows: If you wish, we will contact the examinee directly to arrange an appointment convenient to their schedule. This eliminates changes, late cancellations, and no-shows. Also, let us know if there are any special needs, such as for a female physician or for a potentially violent or disruptive examinee.
- About costs: While we are known for handling large, complex cases, we recognize they can often be a tremendous cost. The way to avoid these increased costs is to ensure that the first examination you order is done right. Ordering evaluations from inexperienced providers or the huge national panel mills or brokers that produce unusable work is of no value. Ultimately, you end up with a huge file, a running tab, and no resolution. Paying us for a standard examination now, is far more reasonable than paying the added fees later, after the file, the frustration, and the finances have spiraled out of control.
